ASSOCIATION OF INTERNATIONAL WOMEN IN MALTA
The Pasta Lunch on 24th February 2012 was enjoyed by all and it was agreed that it should become a regular event. The venue was the upper deck of the Black Pearl restaurant moored at Ta’ Xbiex. The food and service were excellent and with superb views of the Grand Harbour and the marina the lunch could not have been more perfect.
The Evening Serenade concert in aid of the Puttinu Cares Foundation on 18th November 2011 was extremely successful and raised Eur2000.00. Oh what a night!!…a group of AIW Malta members surrounded by U.S. Marines! The occasion was the 236th Marine Corp Ball in the Grand Ballroom of the Radisson Blu Resort on 5th November 2011. AIW Malta was delighted to receive an invitation and looks forward to attending again next year.
AIW Malta members and guests enjoying a cultural tour of the Grand Master’s Palace, Valletta on 25th October 2011. Two extremely knowledgeable guides explained the various uses of the state rooms and the history surrounding the House of Representatives which made the tour all the more enjoyable.
